We are aware that there are a number of Data Broker jobs that are not completing as expected, which may result in financial information not updating as expected. Our internal teams are aware of this and we are reviewing to determine the cause.

We will provide updates through the Status article as we continue to work towards a resolution.

The Rebalance Client Portfolio workflow is a five task process that is resolved once the portfolio has been reallocated and all five tasks have been tagged as completed.

Team Roles required in Workflow: Advisor

Step 1:

First task is created, called "Review Client Asset Allocations and Custom Settings", and it is assigned to the Team Role: Advisor. It is expected the Advisor checks client's request and reviews the client's current asset allocation and trade restrictions on the account.

  • Task one is due one day after the Rebalance Client Portfolio request is created.

Step 2:

Second task is created, called "Run Full Rebalance and Review Trades", and is assigned to the Team Role: Advisor. Based on the request, the Advisor is expected to compare the current portfolio or account allocation to the target (model) and determine the trades that need to be placed to reallocate the portfolio or account accurately.

  • Task two is due one day after the "Run Full Rebalance and Review Trades" task is created.

Step 3:

Third task is created, called "Send Trades for Approval", and it is assigned to the Team Role: Advisor. Based on your internal trade approval requirements, this task reminds the Advisor to get the needed approvals for the trades.

  • Task three is due one day after the "Send Trades for Approval" task is created.

Step 4:

Fourth task is created, called "Submit Trades for Execution", and it is assigned to the Team Role: Advisor. This task reminds the Advisor to trade the portfolio or account to rebalance to the assigned allocation or target (model). There is a three day due date on this to also confirm trade settlements.

  • Task four is due three days after the "Submit Trades for Execution" task is created.

Step 5:

Fifth task is created, called "Confirm Rebalance is Complete", and it is assigned to the Team Role: Advisor. This task reminds the Advisor to update their internal systems, including their CRM with the updated information, and to confirm the trades reallocated the portfolio or account properly. Once confirmed that all five tasks are completed, the Request status will update to Complete.

  • Task five is due five days after the "Update Rebalance is Complete" task is created.
