 There are some great features you will find on the Home screen of Elements when you log in! Because all CRMs can be customized by the System Administrator, it is possible your views will differ. Please contact your System Administrator with additional questions about your customization.

 


Menu Bar - The customizable Menu Bar allows you quick access to the main parts of Elements, with our default view including Home, Dashboards, Relationships, Contacts, Requests, Portfolios, Financial Accounts, Reports, Notes, Tasks, Calendar, & More  (Companies, Chatter, Black Diamond, Models).

Global Search - Search your platform based on information like client names, relationships, or account numbers, or you can drill down to a specific record type to limit search results. When you click into the Global Search box, the most recent 5 entities you have looked at will show in the dropdown list.

Favorites List - Quickly access important records, lists, groups, and other frequently used pages in Salesforce. A favorite is similar to a bookmark in a web browser, but your favorites list is always available regardless of the browser or computer that you use to log in to Lightning Experience.

Global Actions - Quickly create new activities from the Global Actions that are available to your firm. This allows you to create the activities without having to navigate to a new screen.

Help -  Access Salesforce's help site where there are helpful reference tools and courses that are specific to Salesforce.com. Here is where you can also access release notes for Salesforce's upcoming updates.

Setup - Permission specific. For System Administrators and others with the required permissions, the Setup icon will allow you to open your firm's Setup page, where personalization of your CRM begins!

Notifications - Has something changed? Do you need to do something? Notifications can help with this. For your users to receive reminders, as a System Administrator, you must enable Universal Notification Service (UNS). UNS is used for notifications in the Lightning Experience notification bell and is enabled by default.  

View Profile & Settings - Through Settings, users can update important settings for their user including: Personal Information, Language & Time Zones, Change My Password, Grant Account Login Access
