Families Navigation

Family Navigation & Family Name

To access Families, you will go to the Navigation Bar and select Families. You can choose to view All Families, Recently Viewed Families, or other lists that have been created by either you or your firm. Each of these lists is searchable, sortable, and filterable. To choose a specific Family to view the details, click the Family Name to open the Family record. 


What's in a Family?

Below the family Family Name, and Family Menu, the bulk of the information is included. The data points that are listed below are defaults based on Element's initial template. They can be edited, moved, or removed by your System Administrator. Please reach out to your System Administrator or Elements Service Team for more information. 

General

Administrative

Activity 

Activity displays the Activities associated with Families and provides the ability for you to add new Activities from within that screen. 

Chatter

Chatter is a real-time collaboration application that lets users work together, talk to each other, and share information internally.


Family Menu

The Families Menu has links to help you quickly update the Family entity you are viewing. Customization of these links, and permissioning of access to these links, can be updated by the System Administrator. Our defaults include:

  • +Follow
  • Log A Call
  • New Task
  • New Event
  • Delete
  • Edit
  • Clone
  • Printable View
  • Submit for Approval

Salentica can be customized by your System Administrator, so your views & access may differ from this documentation. Please contact your System Administrator with specific questions.
