Check out the latest update to Elements, designed to improve usability and empower teams with greater flexibility and control. This release focuses on performance, precision, and user-driven enhancements.
Workflow Manager
Approval Task Completion without Checklist Completion
Approval Tasks in Workflows can now be completed even if the associated Checklist is not 100% complete. This update removes blockers in the approval process, allowing approvers to reject Tasks when necessary and without being constrained by incomplete Checklists. Elements streamlines decision-making and ensures Workflows reflect real-world scenarios.
In this example, a Workflow contains a Task with both a Checklist and an Approval called "Approve New Account Open Forms." The Checklist is not complete, and the Task has been marked as Rejected, while the Task is also marked Completed. This allows the Workflow process to continue when the Checklist is incomplete and the Task needs to be marked Rejected.

General Enhancements
Queue Notifications on Tasks
Salesforce does not currently have built-in notifications for users when tasks are assigned to Queues. To bridge this gap, Elements now offers a configurable notification feature that ensures your team stays informed and responsive. Queue members can now receive real-time alerts when tasks are assigned, via In-App notifications, Email, or both. Because Queue Notifications are controlled globally, all users who are members of a queue to which a Task is assigned will receive In-App and/or Email Notifications once the settings are enabled. This enhancement ensures that no Task goes unnoticed, enhancing accountability and team coordination.
Note: Notifications are off by default but can be enabled by an admin.
Admin Settings can be enabled by going to Settings> Installed Packages> Salentica Elements> Configure. Check the box for the Queue Notification(s) desired and Save.

This example shows a Task assigned to an Operations Queue and an In-App alert to the assigned user. Click on the Task name in the notification to open the Task.

The email notification is sent to the members of the queue that the Task is assigned to. The hyperlink will take you to the Task in Elements. The user who created the Task will show as the email signee if they have an email signature set up under their user settings.
