Storage allocation per Salesforce edition and number of standard licensed users in your organization.

Storage Capacity

Storage is divided into two categories. File storage includes files in attachments, Files home, Salesforce CRM Content, Chatter files (including user photos), the Documents tab, etc. Data storage includes the following:

  • Accounts
  • Contacts
  • Custom objects
  • Email messages
  • Events
  • Google docs
  • Ideas
  • List Email
  • Notes
  • Opportunities
  • Tasks

Data Storage

Starting in late March 2019, Enterprise Editions (Salentica Elements) is allocated 10 GB for data storage, plus incrementally added user storage. For example, an org with 10 users receives 10 GB of data storage, plus 200 MB, for 10.2 GB of total data storage.

File Storage

Enterprise Editions (Salentica Elements) is allocated 10 GB of file storage per org.

Orgs are allocated additional file storage based on the number of standard user licenses. In Enterprise Editions, orgs are allocated 2 GB of file storage per user license.  An org with fewer than 10 users will receive a total of 1 GB of per-user file storage rather than 100 MB per user license.

File storage and data storage are calculated asynchronously, so if you import or add a large number of records or files, the change in your org’s storage usage isn’t reflected immediately.
